Weight Of A One Year Old Cocker Spaniel

by Róisín
(Ireland)

What weight should a cocker spaniel be at 1 year old?

Reply from Pauline (Web Owner)

This depends on a few factors but, generally, your cocker spaniel should weigh between 12 and 14 kgms, however, this figure should be taken as a guideline only.

Your vet will know your dog better than I and will be able to give you a more accurate figure.

If you're worried about your cocker's weight, for example, you think he's overweight or underweight, I recommend you give your vet or surgery a call.

Cocker Spaniel Weight
by: Anonymous

Cocker spaniel dogs are around 28-34 lbs (13-16kgs) and female dogs are approximately 26-32 lbs (12-15kgs).

This is their average weight at adulthood.

Because all dogs are different, their weights are given as approximate.

For example, if your male dog is small for a cocker spaniel then it wouldn't be too unusual for him to weigh just 28 lbs (13kgs).

On the other hand, if your female dog is rather large framed, she might easily weigh up to 32 lbs (15kgs).
