Salivating Cocker Spaniel

by James
(Parker, AZ)

My brother has an almost 2 year old Cocker Spaniel. He's mostly an indoor dog.

He has begun salivating within the past few hours. My brother wiped the dog's mouth several times. Has had all of his shots etc., and is up to date on everything.

We live in the country. About a week ago, a neighbor gave my brother two German Shep mix puppies who need tick treatment. My brother has been treating them and has kept them apart from the Cocker Spaniel and they do not interact.

He thinks the problem may be coming from the puppies...they were within only a few feet of each other the other day...but other than that no real interaction.

Do you think it is possibly something the Cocker ate?

Take Your Dog To A Vet
by: Anonymous

Don't waste any more time - take your dog to see his vet.

Drooling is a classic sign of poisoning - you need to get this checked out. If it's not poisoning your vet should be able to tell you what, if anything, is wrong with your dog.

Good luck - I hope all is well.
