What a lovely cute looking cocker spaniel puppy! How old is he there? Are you training him yet? I think they're so cute when they're being trained. I love to see a little puppy sit when he's asked to.

Smarto looks just like my cocker when he was a little puppy! Smarto's head appears to be darker than the rest of his body - it could just be the photo though.
My cocker eventually turned a gorgeous deep red colour. His body was the darkest, but his leg feathers stayed blonde, as did his 'cap' on his head.
When he was castrated, his coat went thick, just like candy floss, and he had to be shaved and trimmed. Because of this, he no longer has his beautifully glossy red coat.
His coat is a light golden blonde all over now.
However, he's still lovely, no, he's gorgeous, and I wouldn't change him for the world.

I too have a baby golden cocker spaniel. I hope she grows to look like Smarto!
