My Pumpkin!

by Abby Skaggs
(Havana, IL USA)

My Pumpkin With His Pumpkin!!

My Pumpkin With His Pumpkin!!

Our cocker is a black and white American cocker spaniel. Unfrotunately, he was abused when he was first born by his breeders. He was so tiny when we got him and we didn't think he was going to make it!

He is the love of me and my husband's life and I wouldn't ask for anything more.

He gets so spoiled and treated just like a baby - and we love to do it - he is the light of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world.

He is our one and only baby for now as we have no children, so he has us all to himself for the time being.

I can't believe how much he has grown since we've had him. He will be 1 year old next month!

Pretty Pumpkin
by: Anonymous

I just wish there were more good people like you and your husband to rescue the thousands of cocker spaniels waiting in rescue centers all over the world.

I have two cocker rescues and wouldn't dream of doing anything else. I had a few problems with my first rescue, Max, but he's fine now.

I didn't have any problems with Alex, my second, he's been a dream boy right from the start!

Just look at that gorgeous face - how could you resist that?

He's absolutely lovely!

Good For You!
by: Anonymous

Good for you for rescuing Pumpkin! What a smashing looking cocker spaniel - he looks so cute. I fully understand why you treat your cocker like one of your children - I think many owners do, me included!

Your time with your cocker will fly by so enjoy him every minute of the day!

Two Pumkins!
by: Jessie

Two pumpkins together! Ha! How lovely is he? Whenever I hear about poor little cockers (or any dogs for that matter) being treated cruely or being kicked or hit, it makes my blood boil!

I can't understand how anyone can do such a thing and not feel sick - I could never hurt any animal, especially one as cute as Pumpkin.

I hope you have many happy years together.
