Wally - 1 month and 21 days old!

My girlfriend and I had been wanting to become pet owners, and have something or someone that we both had to take care of.

She consistently kept telling me that she wanted a puppy so since Christmas and her Birthday are coming around I figured the best thing I could buy her is the puppy she wanted.

We both fell in love with this beautiful Cocker Spaniel, who we decided to name Wally.

Thanks for your words. Wally is a beautiful young puppy and has grown a lot since the last time I posted his picture, and I'm sure that if Walter ressembles him then you can be proud that your puppy will look very cute all the time and just looking at him studying what you are doing will make you crack a smile!

We just got our new cocker spaniel yesterday, who looks VERY similar to Wally. When I read your post I was excited to see his name, as we have named our puppy Walter!!

They are like twins on opposite sides of the world (we live in Melbourne, Australia).

Thank you very much for writing those nice things about Wally. We will do our best and more to take care of him...

He sure does have energy, and boy was Jimmy right I seem to be calling his name out more lately then when I first met him, yet he is soooo adorable.

What a wonderful little cocker puppy - and I absolutely love the name Wally! It's a great name for a dog.

I can just hear it now, when you're losing patience with him because he won't come to you when you call him - 'Come on you Wally!' (Said with affection - not meant to be offensive).

He's gorgeous - enjoy him.
