Poorly Gizmo

Roll him on his tummy and give him a big tickle - that should keep him off his feet and shoulders.

Does he like being brushed? If so, you could ask him to lie down and then brush his tummy, his legs, his sides and his ears. This may help him to relax and lie quietly.

Hope he's better soon!

Is he being bullied in the park - would you like the number of Doggie Line for him? :) Only kidding!

I do hope Gizmo is feeling better soon!

Poor Gizmo

I hope poor Gizmo is feeling better soon. It's very difficult to get cocker spaniels to rest at the best of times, but I think it's going to be very difficult for you.

The way to get cockers to rest is to tire them out but this is going to be especially difficult for you as his 'injury' is in his shoulder. Any type of exercise, ie walking, running, retrieving, is going to involve his shoulder!

Good luck and I hope he's better soon.

Poor Gizmo - I know what you mean about keeping Gizmo quiet - most cockers are very lively, hope Gizmo is feeling better soon.
