Points To Consider Prior To Contacting The Artist The following simple steps may help you to get the best out of any discussion with the artist. Step 1 - Choose Your Favourite Dog Photos From your most favourite dog photos, choose one that you'd like the artist to work from. Alternatively, provide a selection of photographs and the artist will decide the best layout and colouring for the portrait. Consider what it is about the photograph that you particularly like and pass that on to the artist. Step 2 - Choose Your Style Decide what style you would like to commission, for example, dog portrait in watercolours, dog drawing in pencil or ink, or cartoon caricature.
