Dog Photos - Our Beautiful Golden Cocker Spaniel

Max loves to play in the snow!

We think this is one of our best dog photos yet and, as dog photos go, we love it!

This is Max after his daily walk in the fields during the winter snows. It's not the first time he's seen snow, but it's the first time he's seen so much of it!

It was quite amusing watching him running, jumping and sliding - he seemed almost puppy-like again - he was very obviously enjoying himself in the snow.

You can see from the photograph that his ears are literally covered in snowballs and look just like baubles on a Christmas tree.

The feathers on his legs were so heavy with snowballs that he could hardly walk home - poor mite - I was almost tempted to pick him up and carry him!

I had to put him in the bath and shower him with luke warm water until the snowballs disolved because they couldn't be picked out of his coat - the snow just clung to his fur and refused to budge.

Max has certainly enjoyed himself today - I've no doubt we'll need to do the same again tomorrow, and the next day until we lose the snow.

If you'd like to see more Cocker Spaniel pictures there are many more dotted around our pages throughout this site, particularly on our visitors page where you can place a photo of your own dog.
