Destroying Bedding

by Sue
(Bow London)

I have two 9-month old cocker spaniels whom are both crate trained. The problem I have is that whatever bedding I put in their crate they seem to shred!!!

I have spent pounds on different types of bedding and beds for them to use, can you suggest what I can use please or give me a reason as to why they do this all the time?

Another question is when is the best time to not have the crate door locked when I'm out or at night as I don't want to come home to a house that has been trashed by my two dogs?

Chew Proof Dog Beds
by: Anonymous

Kuranda claim to produce chewproof dog beds - you could go online and take a look. Just do an online search at Google and it should throw up a link for their website.

Another manufacturer which claims to produce a chew proof bed is Orvis.

Peluche also make a chew-resistant dog bed that is guaranteed.

Hope you get your problem resolved soon.
