Cocker-Beagle Cross (Bocker)

by Ryan
(Mayes)

I have a Cocker/Beagle Cross. She looks more cocker than anything really and I think the cocker half may be English. She has a fairly long snout. She turns 6 months old today and weighs 19 pounds.

I know Cockers can exceed 30 pounds, as can some Beagles. She still has some loose puppy skin and her paws are much bigger than my 25 pound Rat Terriers. She also still looks like an awkward, gangly puppy.

For comparison, her littermate (whom we also have) is only about 14 pounds and isn't growing much anymore.

Her paws are much smaller, her skin is tighter, and her chest/skeletal structure is more well developed. She just seems like she matured faster.

Is this common with crossbred dogs? Assuming the Cocker characteristics are more prevalent, how big do you think I can expect this dog to get?
