Want To Look For More Breeders?

If there aren't enough breeders showing up near you, it's probably because I'm still building this database and have not yet finished adding to it, but I promise I'll add more as soon as I can.

In the meanwhile, to help you find more, I've added a handy search box which will go looking around the Internet and bring you a list of Cocker breeders in and around Utah.

Just type in the words "cocker spaniel breeders" (less the quotation marks) and the town, city or area that you're willing to travel to to get your little puppy, then click the search button.

Check Your Breeder's Credentials!

It's important to check out your breeder to make sure you're not buying a puppy from one of these despicable puppy farmers who don't care for their puppies or dogs in the way they should and who are in business only for profit.

If you've never heard of puppy farms (also known as puppy mills) before, you might find this article on why you should avoid puppy farms very interesting.

One way you can separate the farmers from the professional and hobby breeders is to find out more about them by asking them lots of questions about themselves and their kennels and dogs. Find out how long they've been breeding, how many bitches they breed from and how often. If you'd like a few ideas, you'll find more about what you should be asking here.

Puppy Care

Once you've chosen your breeder you will be well on your way to finding your perfect little English or American Cocker Spaniel puppy!

Whilst bringing home a new puppy is an exciting time, if this is your first puppy, or it's a long while since you've cared for one, it can also be a little scary too and you may be wondering how you're going to cope.

There's no need to worry, you'll fin lots of helpful tips and advice on puppy care and you'll find our guide to potty training your puppy gets results - quickly!

Please don't forget to mention our website and let them know about our Cocker Breeders Directory!

If you know a breeder of either English or American Cocker Spaniels, and you feel they should be listed here, just send them to our breeders directory submission page to get a free listing!
