Most people looking for a breeder or cocker spaniel puppies for sale will be searching online - they want information from reliable breeders and they want lots of cute puppy pictures! If a business is to be successful, it needs an online presence and a high volume of traffic - that's lots of visitors for you and me!
However, not all website owners have the time, or the funds, to devote to designing, building, and maintaining a website. Nor do they have the time to attract and generate the necessary volume of traffic - all of which can be very time consuming! A site without traffic is like having a shop window which no one walks past or looks into, and that means no customers and no exposure. What's the point of that? Our shop window gets lots of traffic - lots of potential Cocker Spaniel puppy buyers! We receive many emails from visitors asking for our help in finding breeders and/or puppies in their particular area - why not allow us to put you in touch with them? I recommend you strive for a minimum of 300 words (400 is better) in total, to help attract the search engines to your page. Anything less, and they may not see your page as quality content and won't rank it highly.
I've listed a few suggestions to get your creative juices flowing, but please don't feel you have to answer all of the prompts - just say what comes naturally - the prompts are only meant as a guide in case you're having a mental blank!
List the name of your kennels near the top of your page as well as your name, address, and contact details - telephone number, email address and/or website address.
If you don't want to give out your full home address, you can simply give your general location (which is particularly important if visitors are to search locally) and contact details.
If you operate opening hours, please state them. If you prefer visitors to make an appointment, or telephone during certain times of the day, make sure you mention this too.
Suggestions to help you write your web page:
- How long have you been breeding Cocker Spaniels?
- How many dogs do you have?
- What are their sexes, their names, their ages, etc;
- Are you registered with the Kennel Club?
- Are you registered with any type of Cocker Spaniel Club?
- How many litters do you breed each year?
- Are your puppies kept in outdoor kennels, in the home, or a combination of both?
- Are your dogs part of the family?
- Are your dogs health tested; if so, can you provide details?
- What socialization will be carried out prior to your puppies leaving your premises? For example, puppies handled by the family from birth, an introduction to certain sounds and sights, etc.
- If you show your dogs, why not add a few details about their achievements?
- Do you provide a puppy pack? If so, what does it include? For example:
- Sales receipt and sales contract;
- Docking certificate, if applicable;
- Kennel Club's transfer of ownership;
- Puppy's pedigree;
- Puppy's 'parents';
- Puppy care suggestions and advice;
- Information on diet and feeding;
- Record of worming and flea treatment;
- Details of training given so far;
- Growth and weight record.
Please don't TYPE IN CAPITALS and make sure you've used at least 300 words, otherwise you may have your listing declined.
