Be Sure You're Dealing With A Good Breeder!

Just because the breeder is listed in our directory, it doesn't mean that they are reliable or professional breeders. You will need to do a little research first.

I recommend you ask many questions; ask about their breeding methods, the 'parent' dogs, and whether their puppies are raised indoors or outdoors. Is their kennel clean and warm, and without bad smells?

Asking such questions will help you to determine whether or not you're dealing with a good breeder, but it will also show the breeder that you care and that you will make a great puppy parent for one of their little puppies.

Asking searching questions will also help you to be certain that you're not buying a puppy from one of the many unscrupulous puppy farms that seem to be cropping up all over!

To help you with your questioning, I've written an article entitled, 'Questions To Ask Your Cocker Breeder' which I hope you find useful.
