Time To Contact Your Breeder

When you're almost ready to choose your breeder, I recommend you ask them a few questions - ask about their breeding methods, their Cockers, and where their puppies are kept.

Don't be shy about it - they will expect you to ask them some questions and if you don't it may lead them to believe you probably wouldn't make a good owner for one of their puppies.

As an additional benefit, asking searching questions will also help to determine whether or not you're dealing with one of the many unscrupulous puppy farms that seem to be cropping up all over!

Before bringing home your new puppy I recommend you do a little reading on the subject of puppy care and perhaps potty training so that you're up to speed and ready to take on that mischievous, lovable little bundle of fur.
