Aroha - My First Cocker Spaniel Puppy

This is my beautiful Aroha (meaning love) - she's only 4 months old. She loves any person who gives her affection - her tail goes mad when she sees a stranger walk the streets!

I love making her Satin Balls and she is satisfied after having 5 or 6. :)

I just had to write to say that Aroha has captured my heart. She's beautiful and I especially love the photo of her resting in the clover.

It's great that she's friendly with strangers in the street - she's obviously been socialized properly.

Unfortunately, when I had a young puppy I didn't know about socialization so didn't know how important it is to a puppy's development.

My puppy has grown up to be frightened of most things, especially people, because as I live alone and don't have many visitors to the house, she didn't get to meet many people.

The same applies to other dogs, unfortunatley, however, I love her all the same.

Seems like you've got it right with Aroha - good luck and I hope you both have many happy years together!

I love golden cockers - they're my favourite! Aroha looks as if she enjoys getting up to mischief and is so cute, I could just love her so much.

PS: tried the Satin Balls (well, my cocker did) and he loved them!
