Aggressive Cocker Spaniel Puppy

Is it normal for my cocker spaniel puppy of 9 weeks old to bite and growl when playing, or if you take a toy away?

And when you say 'No' she runs away and hides.

She is so sweet otherwise.

Aggressive Cocker

Most Cockers will try to get away with anything they can. You need to make sure she's trained well and understands that you are her 'boss'.

The best advice I can give is for you to begin the play sessions (as this site advises) and end them when you're ready to.

Don't let your puppy dictate when it's playtime.

As for growling, puppies growl when they play. If she's baring her teeth or curling her lip, then you need to worry.
